Ministry of Community Development Launches Family Income & Expenditure Survey 2024

The Ministry of Community Development announced the launch of the Family Income and Expenditure Survey 2024, in collaboration with the national statistical centres all over the Emirates. The comprehensive national initiative will continue for a full year covering about 19,000 households and aims to provide a series of data and indicators related to the lifestyle of families from both economic and social perspective

The Ministry of Community Development announced the launch of the Family Income and Expenditure Survey 2024, in collaboration with the national statistical centres all over the Emirates.  The comprehensive national initiative will continue for a full year covering about 19,000 households and aims to provide a series of data and indicators related to the lifestyle of families from both economic and social perspective, study the living conditions and standards in the UAE, as well as seasonal changes that households through their income and expenditure over the course of a full year.

Her Excellency Shamma Bint Suhail Al Mazrui, Minister of Community Development, said: "In line with the UAE wise leadership visions, the UAE launched the National Wellbeing Strategy 2031, with the aim of transitioning from the concept of wellbeing to a comprehensive concept of integrated quality life. The Ministry of Community Development continues its commitment to enhance the life aspects of individuals and families through a scientific approach that seeks to improve development plans and renewed services that touch the reality of the needs of Emirati families, supporting their cohesion, stability, and protecting their individuals within a sustainable development plan framework."

Her Excellency pointed out that the Family Income and Expenditure Survey 2024 represents a crucial step that the ministry and its partners at the national level are working on to enrich the family database, integrating with plans and initiatives.
