Qelada
Qelada project is characterized by its human and environmental aspects. All the inspirational works are done by the people of determination to reproduce currency paper clips provided by UAE Central Bank into unique jewelry with artistic and innovative touches of the people of determination under the supervision of the two Emirati famous designers Mrs./ Shaikha Al Serkal and Mrs./ Azza Al Qubaisi.
Objectives:
1-Achieve the desired empowerment of the people of determination in the community through their integration in the labor market under the supervision of the Department of Rehabilitation and Welfare of People of Determination at the Ministry.
2-Achieve a kind of economic independence for the people of determination through the marketing of “Qelada” products in various outlets.
3-Promote the development of the personal and professional skills of the people of determination.
4-Support the environment and achieve the concepts of sustainability in innovative ways and techniques.
