Service Description
Card of people of determination is a personal card issued by Ministry of Community Development to people of determination. It is considered to be an official document indicating that the holder is disabled to ensure the rights and services established in the Federal Persons with Disabilities Law No. 29 of 2006 and the regulations and decisions issued in implementation thereof.

Steps to implement the service
1. Submit applications through the website.
2. Receive email and text message notifications upon submission and status changes of the application.
3. The relevant department processes the application, reviews the attached documents.
4. The assessment committee reviews the application to determine compliance with the card eligibility criteria.
5. The card is dispatched if issued through the delivery service.

Service Conditions and Requirements
1.To be a UAE citizen or a legal resident.
2. Diagnosis by an official medical or psychological entity approved by the People of Determination Welfare & Rehabilitation Department.
3.Submission of medical or psychological reports confirming the type and severity of the disability, as well as the assistive tools required.
4.The applicant must be one of the people of determination following categories: intellectual, auditory, visual, physical, autism, multiple disabilities, mental, communication, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders, auditory-visual, and learning difficulties.
